The Stables Pub bartender is an independent self motivated person who enjoys meeting and socializing with fellow Colleagues of the Chateau Lake Louise. Stables Pub operates year round, primarily servicing the staff of the Chateau Lake Louise. Dine in service is available within Stables Pub which boasts occupancy upwards of 280 guests for drinks and dinner. Stables Pub also offers a wide variety of Beer and Spirits for Off-sales for the Colleagues to enjoy back in residence.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Stables Pub Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide prompt, courteous, responsible and efficient beverage service
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the Health & Safety program
  • Knowledgeable of the Micros system and all products served in Stables Pub
  • Ensure cleanliness of all areas of Stables Pub including regular cleaning of guest areas
  • Ensure cleanliness of all equipment found in Stables Pub, and report any required maintenance to Stables Pub Manager
  • Participation in departmental meetings, inter-departmental meetings, shift line-ups and incentive programs
  • Report any deficiencies in equipment or level of supplies to Stables Pub Manager
  • Verify legal age of all patrons
  • Ensure all liquor laws are adhered to consistently
  • Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food & beverage service in other Food & Beverage Outlets as required
  • Ensure adherence to all environmental practices within the Hotel and the Food & Beverage Department
  • Any other duties as may be required from time to time
